QUALITY CONTROL & INSPECTION

Quality control — every sealed sample is your approved standard.

We run an in-house QC team, not third-party box-tickers. Three inspection gates, each with a sealed sample you've signed off on — so bulk production can't drift from what you approved.

🔍 In-house QC team, not outsourced 🚦 3 gates: pre-production, bulk sample, pre-shipment ✅ AQL 2.5 / ISO 2859-1 standard
The short version

Quality control for China sourcing is the process of inspecting products at multiple stages of production to ensure bulk goods match the approved sample. The most common failure point is that the sample you approve looks great, but bulk production drifts — materials change, the factory takes shortcuts, packaging isn't what was agreed.

Our approach is simple: at every inspection gate, we seal a sample to the standard you personally approve. Pre-production sample, bulk sample, and final pre-shipment inspection — each one is checked against your sealed benchmark, not the factory's promise.

We run an in-house QC team, not a third-party inspection company. Our inspectors are on our payroll, visit your factories directly, and report to us — so there's no misalignment.

Fit check

Is this service right for you?

We're the wrong partner for some buyers. Here's the honest split.

For you

This works if…

  • You're placing production orders and can't afford quality drift from sample to bulk
  • You've been burned by sample-vs-bulk differences on Alibaba
  • You sell on Amazon and returns from defective products hurt your ranking
  • You need a written inspection report for your records
Not for you

This isn't a fit if…

  • You're only ordering a single sample for evaluation
  • You already have your own QC team in China
  • You're sourcing raw materials with no finished assembly
  • You only need factory audit, not physical inspection
How It Works

Six stages, three sealed-sample gates

Every gate is checked against the same sealed sample you approved.

1

Gate 1: Pre-production sample

Before bulk starts, you approve the first sample. You seal it. This is the benchmark.

2

Gate 2: Bulk sample (~20% through)

When production is ~20% complete, we pull a sample and check it against Gate 1's sealed standard. We catch drift early.

3

Gate 3: Pre-shipment AQL 2.5

Random sample from finished cartons per ISO 2859-1. Dimensions, function, packaging, labels, barcodes.

4

Functional test video

We film products working: switches, buttons, moving parts, drop tests.

5

Written report

Photos, measurements and a pass/fail decision before goods ship.

6

Remediation if failed

We coordinate rework or replacement with the factory before shipment. You don't pay the balance until you approve.

What it costs

Three-stage QC is built into managed sourcing orders.

Three-stage QC is included in the service fee for managed sourcing orders. Standalone inspections for buyers working with other suppliers are quoted per order size.

FAQ

Quality control questions

What buyers ask us before the first inspection.

Third-party inspectors are incentivized to clear lots quickly — they're paid per inspection. Our in-house team reports to us, and we're incentivized to catch problems before they reach you.
At Gate 1, you personally approve the first sample. We keep it sealed. Every subsequent check compares bulk production against that physical benchmark — not a spec sheet, not a photo.
Per ISO 2859-1: in a random sample from finished cartons, no more than 2.5% major defects and 4% minor defects. If the sample exceeds this, the batch fails.
Yes. We record video of products actually working — switches, buttons, moving parts, drop tests. You see the video before goods ship.
We coordinate rework with the factory, or arrange replacement units. You don't pay the balance until you approve the resolution.
Yes. We check FNSKU labels, carton marks, poly-bag warnings, packaging integrity — anything Amazon receiving looks for.
Category standard

Not one checklist — a standard per category

Paper fails differently from ceramics, and ceramics differently from electronics. Each category we inspect has its own criteria sheet: the checks, the tools, the tolerance and the defect class.
